The health and safety of our guests is our greatest concern. We are proud of our 5* cleaning and housekeeping standards, but obviously, at the moment we need to have enhanced levels of cleaning as well as other safety protocols in place.
With it's secluded and private location, plus it's large garden, The Chalet makes social distancing easy.
We have taken advice from UK Hospitality and The Professional Association of Self-Caterers and will be following their government approved standards and protocols. We will be keeping up to date with any changes in government guidelines.
Unfortunately, it may be necessary for us to remove some of the little extras that we usually like to provide such as magazines, DVDs, board games etc. that have been identified as 'high-risk' items. They will be available to you on request.
Due to the additional hours required to complete a Covid-secure clean, and because we have 'shielding' members in our household, we will not be doing same-day changeovers. There will be a minimum of 72 hours between guests.
We have accreditation from Visit England's'We're Good To Go' campaign and the AA 'Covid-19 Confident' campaign to show that we have the National Industry Standard and are abiding by government and industry Covid-19 guidelines with commitments to enhanced cleanliness and social-distancing.

CANCELLATION IN THE TIME OF COVID We want our guests to feel comfortable and confident about booking with us during these uncertain times. In the event of further Governmental lockdowns - either national or local - you will be able to cancel your reservation. You will receive a prompt refund in full. Equally, we hope you understand that we may need to cancel your reservation. In the unfortunate event that it is necessary to do so, we would of course give you as much notice as possible and a full refund.
